Just that has inspired her to loud + proud. “Baby fashion should be functional, must be made of ecological materials and should give pleasure”, she says. “Moreover, subjects like sustainability, fair trade and respect for humans and nature still play a too low role”.

Although cotton grows only on a small part of the worldwide cultivation area, the majority of the worldwide pesticide production is used on these areas. Harvesting is done by hand and without application of defoliants. The use of European cotton saves the nature by short routes of transport. Processing only occurs in Germany. Colors are azo free and contain neither metals nor allergy releasing additives. Some styles are made from colored grown cotton. This is a special cultivation where cotton grows up in brown or green tones already in the capsule, dying and bleaching is not necessary anymore.
